Research Interests

Intellectual and developmental disabilities (autism & intellectual disabilities): Stigma and social inclusion, Development of screening and diagnostic tools.

Restu Tri Handoyo, S.Psi., M.Psi., Ph.D., Psychologist, is a prominent clinical psychologist, particularly in relation to intellectual and developmental disabilities. Restu earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree from the Division of Psychiatry, University College London. Previously, he obtained a Master’s degree in Psychology (M.Psi) and a Psychologist degree from the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Gadjah Mada. His early education began at the Faculty of Psychology, University of Indonesia, where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. (S.Psi). Restu’s expertise is focused on clinical psychology, with a strong research interest in intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism and intellectual disabilities. He is also actively involved in research related to stigma and social inclusion, as well as the development of screening and diagnostic tools.
