Scientific Writing Competition Qurani (LKTIQ) is part of the 7th Qurani Festival organized by the activity Unit student-development Tahfidhul Qur’an (UPTQ) UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. This LKTIQ themed “integrates the values of the Qur’an & Industrial Revolution to realize Indonesia’s competitive”.
This competition has 3 stages of selection, namely abstract, full paper, and presentation. The team from the Faculty of Psychology UGM consisting of Lulu’ul Jannah, Hastinia Apriasari, and Ariska Ayu Setyaningsih, students of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, 2018 brought the theme of Al-Quran and education with the title of scientific work “optimizing the role of father-based Qur’an to realize competitive Indonesia”. This paper covers Surah Al-Luqman verse 13-19 about the basic method of a father in his son’s Medidik. This theme was chosen because it was inspired by the study of the role of a father who was filled by Bu Diana Setyawati Professor of Psychology UGM as well as a guide in writing this scientific paper Quran. This scientific work delivered the psychology team through to the presentation stage.
Lulu’ul Jannah, the chairman of the LKTIQ team from UGM revealed “this work is increasingly aware of us that between father and mother has a portion of each family’s education that is inseparable and must be fulfilled. One good father can change a generation of lives, one good father can change one generation”.
The LKTQ screening process starts in March with abstract shipping. There are 300 abstracts submitted by various students from all over Indonesia. The next 300 abstracts are selected to be 100 abstract selected to be ready to follow the full paper selection. With a wide selection process is finally selected 15 full paper that is a finalist for presentations at UINSA Surabaya.
With a presentation of 15 finalists that are very impressive in their respective fields, finally team LKTIQ UGM is able to bring home the title of Hope 2.
