CICP Organized Theory Building Training (TBT) Advance

The Center for Indigenous and Cultural Psychology (CICP) again organizes the Theory Building Training (TBT). CICP takes the theme of Theory Building Training (TBT) Advance: “How to Writing Up Qualitative Research”. This event is a continuation of the previous TBT implementation of the intermediate scale. The goal is slightly different from the previous TBT type where the focus is no longer one of the qualitative approaches to which at that time is discussed about grounded theory. But TBT this time more focused on how to write qualitative research.

Held on 25 to 26 October 2019, participants in the majority of TBT are students, both masters, and doctoral students. But also many of them are practitioners or lecturers. About 15 attendance were presently filled the room A-214. Present in TBT training is Edilburga Wulan Saptandi, M. Psi., Psychologist and Dr. Wenty Mari Minza, M.A. the event was held for two days from the early morning to the afternoon.

TBT is maintained not only in the form of material only, but also filled with participants demanded to apply the material that has been submitted. TBT is divided into two sessions. Session One includes explanations on how to write qualitative research, then also styles in writing. The Committee also gives the participants the opportunity to receive feedback from the speaker. While on the second-day participants were asked to present the results of what they had written before.
