“Empowering Leadership” Program Invites Productive Students During The Holidays

Friday (28/6) students of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, 2017 and 2018, held the opening of the “Empowering Leadership” event devoted to elementary school children. The student representative of 2017 and 2018, Dina Arifka, is also the chief executive of the event explaining that this event is one of the nuances programs of Faculty of Psychology UGM.

This event is one of the two great nuances programs organized by the students of the Faculty of Psychology UGM which is dominated by the 2017 and 2018 generations. A total of 57 participants participated in the event. Dina also said that the event was held for 3 days 2 nights by taking place in Kaliboyong Camping Down, Turi, Yogyakarta. Parents were also presented to the event and delivered their children during the event opening.

Dina, the managing chief of “Empowering Leadership”, claimed she was willing to become executive chairman because of the Nuance program. Because of his interest in this, he finally tried to present the program in front of the Nuance manager. Dina explains that this was her first time to be the chief executive of a sizable event.

On Friday the opening ceremony was held. Then on the second day of Saturday, the outbound event and also the delivery of the material takes place. While the last day is Sunday, the outbound event still continues and ends with a seminar on parenting and children offerings for parents.

The goal of the event itself is to keep the child productive despite the holiday period. The children involved in this event are elementary school children. The Committee took the title of “Mountain Adventure,” the goal is to allow children to have to empower leadership skills.

Dina hopes this event can make the younger generation can lead from itself so that they can become wise and disciplined leaders in the future.
