School of Psychology UGM Welcomes New Students’s Parents

Saturday (3/8), Faculty of Psychology at Gadjah Mada University along with POTMAPSI (the Parents Association of the Faculty of Psychology University of Gadjah Mada) organized the parents ‘ meeting of new students 2019/2020. This meeting is a routine agenda held every new school year by the Faculty of Psychology UGM as a means of introducing the faculty to the parents of new students.

The event was attended by approximately 250 parents of new students, and the ranks of the Deanery and faculty of Psychology UGM at the Auditorium G-100. The event began with a greeting from Dean of the Faculty of Psychology UGM, Prof. Dr. Faturochman, M.A. in his speech he presented “The Faculty of Psychology strives to be a superior faculty so that the daughters hope of the father and mother can work hard so that the learning process is no obstacle so that it can pass into the best graduates.” He also expects the role of parents to support the learning process of teaching their children in the faculty by jointly implementing self-efficacy, namely with the belief that is the best so that the students will achieve the best results.

At this meeting, parents of new students get a variety of information related to lecture activities and the introduction of academic systems that can be used by parents to monitor the progress of the lecture their children. (Psychology public Relations UGM/Jehna)
