UGM Psychology won 1st Place in the PESONA (Pekan Keilmuan Psikologi Islam Nasional/National Islamic Psychology Week) in Universitas Indonesia, Depok. The student who won the prize was Fakhirah Inayaturrobbani, who competed on November 17, 2018, in the university's Faculty of Psychology. She won first place and was chosen among other competitors from universities all around Indonesia.

Psychosis is the general picture when thinking about someone currently facing mental illness. Someone experiencing this might find difficulty in differentiating between what is reality and what is imaginary.
Center for Public Mental Health (CPMH), one of the units in Gadjah Mada University's Faculty of Psychology held a Studium Generale with the theme "Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis: An Introduction". It was held in Auditorium G-100 on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 13.30 to 15.00.
In order to commemorate World Mental Health Day, CPMH held several events starting mid September, which will then end with a workshop about CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) on November 16, 2018 – November 17, 2018.
On Tuesday, November 13, 2018, UGM Psychology held an introductory session (called sosialisasi/socialization) to socialize about a student exchange opportunity to Gronigen University. The event started at 9.30 a.m. in the G-100 Auditorium. The participation was mandatory for IUP students in the faculty, but students from the regular program were also more than welcome to attend.
The need to develop an entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and creativity inspired the Entrepreneurial Department of UGM Psychology's Student Body Organization (Lembaga Mahasiswa) to organize an entrepreneurship seminar and talkshow.
